It is okay to seek help

We are always happy to chat to people about their feelings when they have suffered bereavement, often having someone to talk to who understands can be very supportive. For those that have more complex needs, we can recommend our good friend and Pet Bereavement Specialist Dawn Murray. With over two decades of experience supporting pet carers pre, during, and post the death of their much-loved pets, Dawn Murray is one of the UK’s leading pet loss support counsellors. Amongst her qualifications, Dawn has Diplomas in Pet Bereavement Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and worked for many years as a Pet Undertaker. She is a qualified CPD presenter and has written the highly accredited Living With Pet Bereavement course and is the author of 'Pet Loss Support - The Complete Guide'; aimed at those wishing to offer support in a professional setting.
She has experienced pet bereavement many times herself and fully understands the devastating impact a loss like this can have on your life. Dawn is also the founder of Ray of Hope and has raised thousands of pounds over the years to help animal charities. She has supported us with our charity the National Military Working Dogs Memorial UK at Crufts, Houses of Parliament and many military events.
