Pet Memorial Drawing

Artworks to Remember Your Pet

There are several ways to celebrate and memorialise the life of our pets, many people have used art to express the personality and character of their lost friends, for this we recommend the services of local artist Elfin Bow. Elfin Bow can provide a beautiful drawing that captures the likeness and essence of your loved one, with a unique style.
A pet lover and dog owner herself, Elfin will work with you, with kindness, compassion and understanding, to create a bespoke piece just for you. She can also create a beautiful time-lapse video of the artwork being created, accompanied by music, poetry or even spoken memories of your pet. You can get in touch with Elfin Bow through her website www.elfinbow.com, her Facebook page facebook.com/elfinbow, or send her an email at [email protected]

Amy and Juno

Amy and Juno are best friends. An ex-racing greyhound, Amy and her parents rescued her and soon they formed a deep bond of trust and friendship. This video and resulting drawing is a tribute to this beautiful relationship, between a young girl and her dog. Drawn with graphite pencil and eraser, watch as the sketched outlines are followed by the addition of tone and detail.

Lincoln

This old boy melted my heart. His owner got in touch and told me that his 12 year old cocker spaniel had just weeks to live as he had a tumor on his nose. As a cocker spaniel owner myself, I fell in love with him as I attempted to capture his likeness with pencil and rubber. What a privilege to be able to create this memorial of a special family pet.

Chester

A beautiful Golden Retriever, and a gentle family dog. I enjoyed creating this gift from a daughter to her mum. Every pet has their own personality and their expression is all in the eyes. I just loved drawing Chester's beautiful coat. I wish I could have given him a big hug.

Toby

Toby was a serious but loving pet. At the rescue centre his description had only one word: "adorable" as he definitely was. He passed away during lockdown and so it was an honour to be able to present his owners with a drawing for them to cherish.
