The National Military Working Dogs Memorial is a charity really close to our hearts. We want to honour working dogs for all they do for this country as we do service men. The National Military Working Dogs Memorial charity, otherwise known as NMWDM (UK), was established in 2017 with the sole purpose to establish a memorial to commemorate the Military Working Dogs who bravely served their country in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts as in Bosnia Afghanistan and Iraq.
John Ward, Owner of Pet Funeral Services Ltd, has kindly donated the land for the memorial at the award winning Pet Cemetery grounds in Holywell, Flintshire, North Wales. The memorial will then be ideally situated – central and accessible, to the whole of the UK and Ireland.
John Ward and his daughter, Emma Ward are trustees of the charity and work to raise both awareness and funds to enable the memorial to be constructed. Like all the other trustees, their time and hard work is given free of charge.
